Sukhdev Singh Chauhan is the Founder and Managing Director of Alpha & Omega Therapeutics Pvt. Ltd.- a company he built from the ground up, without external funding, over the course of two decades.
A science graduate from DAV PG College, Dehradun (affiliated with HNBG University, Uttarakhand), Mr. Chauhan began his pharmaceutical career as a Medical Representative and steadily rose through the ranks to become a Senior Regional Manager- accumulating over 15+ years of field experience across companies including Duphar Interfran Ltd., Croslands (a division of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd.) and Torrent Pharma.
Thirty-six years in this industry have taught me that there are no shortcuts worth taking. Alpha & Omega was built with integrity, discipline, and a commitment to doing things the right way — and our journey is only just beginning.
It was this deep, ground-level understanding of the pharmaceutical market- its strengths, its pressures, and its gaps- that led him to establish his own company in 2005. He saw a market where ethical practice was rare and where patient interest often came second to commercial convenience. He chose to build something different.
His expertise in field sales, marketing, and product strategy, combined with the relationships he had built with doctors across Gujarat over those 15+ years, became the bedrock of Alpha & Omega’s early growth. Under his leadership, the company launched India’s first Diclofenac Diethylamine 2% gel- Alphalini- a product that went on to build an organic customer following the company hadn’t even anticipated.
Mr. Chauhan’s approach to business is rooted in discipline, quality, and a genuine belief that the pharmaceutical industry has a responsibility to the patients it ultimately serves. He has led the company through its most defining moments- from its first product launch to its first owned office, from surviving the pandemic to expanding into another state as Maharashtra- always with a focus on doing things the right way.
Beyond business, he is driven by a deep sense of social responsibility. Building Alpha & Omega has been, for him, as much about creating meaningful employment and contributing to the community as it has been about commercial success.
Today, with 36+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, he continues to lead Alpha & Omega with the same conviction that started it all- that quality is not a feature, it is a foundation.
